The latest update to WP Review Slider Pro is live, and the big highlight this time is a brand-new template style. I’ll run through the other updates below, but I wanted to give this one the spotlight first.
New Template Style – #14 (Made for Media Reviews)
Style #14 is designed specifically for reviews that include images or videos. It puts the media front and center, then balances it with the text in a clean, modern layout. If you’ve been looking for a way to really showcase customer photos or screenshots, this template is built for that.
And here’s a quick reminder:
- You can add media to any review on the Review List page.
- You can also filter your templates so that only reviews with media are displayed.
That way, if you’re using Style #14, you can make sure every review shown includes visuals.
Other Updates in v12.4.7
GetYourGuide media now defaults to full size
Images from GetYourGuide will now pull in at full resolution automatically.
Zillow reviews crawl pulls more than 5 now
No more being stuck at just five Zillow reviews—you can grab more in one go.
Template Header Search can now look at meta-data
Search got a little smarter. Now you can search metadata in the template header search bar to quickly find the template you need.
Google review media downloads locally
Google likes to expire links, which caused missing media. The plugin now tries to download those images locally so they don’t disappear.
Bug fixes and small tweaks
Cleaned up some little things under the hood.
