Autoresponders in WP Review Slider Pro send a review request automatically after a WooCommerce order is completed or after someone registers on your site. You do not need another email plugin or a manual customer list.
This feature shipped in WP Review Slider Pro 12.7.12. Open WP Review Slider Pro → Autoresponders and click Add New Autoresponder.
Shopping for this feature? See the Review Request Forms & Autoresponders feature page for everything the forms, review gate, and autoresponders can do.

- Ask at the right moment. Send after a completed WooCommerce order or a new user registration, with a delay you choose.
- Brand the request. Use a starter template, then add your logo, accent color, from name, and footer.
- See what went out. Email history shows delivery, clicks, and approximate opens for 90 days.
Choose when the review request sends
Give the rule a title you will recognize later, then pick an autoresponder type:
- WooCommerce order completed. One rule covers every product. Each completed order sends one email per unique product purchased.
- New user registration. Send a review request after someone creates an account on your site.
You can save a WooCommerce rule before WooCommerce is active. It will not send until WooCommerce is running.

Design the review request email
After you choose a trigger, step 2 opens the email settings. Turn on Send emails for this rule, then set a delay in days. Use 0 to send on the next worker run, usually within a few minutes. The worker runs about once an hour.
For WooCommerce, choose where the customer should go:
- Product page they bought if the review form lives on the product template. Each product uses its own page URL.
- A specific page or external URL for a catch-all form or an off-site review link. Every product in the order uses the same destination.
On a catch-all page on your own site, you can append wprev_pid so the form knows which product was purchased. Append gate args adds wppl=auto when the form is gated.
Starter templates fill in a subject and message you can edit:
- Quick rating request. A short branded email with linked stars. Works for WooCommerce and new registrations.
- Product review request. Names the purchased product and the order number. WooCommerce only.
- Relationship follow-up. A warmer note for customers or registered users after they have had time to use what they bought.

Select a template to preview it, then click Use selected template. Undo restores the previous subject and message. Add a logo, accent color, inbox preheader, from name, from email, and footer so the message looks like it came from your business. The live preview has desktop and mobile widths. Send Test Email uses sample placeholder data and does not save the rule.

Personalization fields you can insert: {{customer_name}}, {{customer_email}}, {{product_name}}, {{order_id}}, {{site_name}}, and {{review_link}}.
Check Autoresponder email history
Open Email history on the Autoresponders page to see what was sent. Filter by status (pending, sending, sent, failed, or cancelled), rule, source, recipient, or date. Clicks are always tracked. Open tracking is optional and approximate, because many inboxes block or prefetch images. History is kept for 90 days.

You can edit, copy, or turn a rule off without deleting it. Delete is separate, and WordPress asks you to confirm.
Frequently asked questions
How are Autoresponders different from Email Notifications?
Email Notifications tell you when a new review arrives. Autoresponders email the customer and ask them to leave a review. They are separate tools.
Do I need one Autoresponder per WooCommerce product?
No. One WooCommerce rule covers the catalog. A completed order sends one email for each unique product in that order.
When does the review request actually send?
The delay is in whole days. A delay of 0 queues the email for the next worker run, usually within a few minutes. The worker runs about once an hour, so a one-day delay is not exact to the minute.
